Fee Arrangements  

Ashgate House is committed to providing quality care and the fees charged are dependent on the type of care package and needs of the individual service user. Fee rates will vary between individuals. 
Depending on each individual’s personal financial situation, a service user may be required to either pay the fees privately in full or receive part/full financial support from the Local Authority and/or the Primary Care Trust. Financial arrangements must be in place and agreed by all parties prior to any admission.

Fees – What is included? 
Care and support by nursing and care staff 24 hours per day. During the day only, ancillary and kitchen staff to provide for cleaning and laundry services and to provide all meals. Maintenance staff also carryout repairs to the Home including individual’s personal belongings as necessary during the day. Also provided is:- 
Home cooking 
Provision for special diets 
Laundry service 
Call system 
Central heating 
Social outings/indoor activities as arranged by the staff 
Access to minibus/taxi services for outings/transport to hospital, outpatient and GP appointments 
Leisure and recreational facilities, where appropriate 
Specialist facilities and equipment 

What is not included? 

Dry cleaning 
Meals out of the Home 
Payment for trips and social outings 
Private phone calls 
Personal hygiene products 
Carbonated drinks, for example coke cola and/or alcoholic drinks 
Maintenance of privately owned equipment, e.g. own wheelchair or bed, etc. 
Funeral expenses 
Taxi services/public transport for personal outings 
Personal holidays 
Additional 1:1 staff input 
Veterinary bills 
Dental/Optical Treatment
